meet Mandy

I LOVE blogland! The best part is that if you want to try something, I can promise it's already been done and neatly posted in a tutorial section, complete with before and after pictures. Sometimes It's fun to re-invent the wheel, but if you're like me, you're willing to let someone else work out the kinks, all the while sparing the children from learning bad words.

Last week, I innocently googled "DIY zebra rug", and you won't believe what I found! Yes, there were lots of tacky pictures and tutorials I had to wade through, but the little treasure I found when I happened upon Mandi's blog was just what I was looking for! After chatting back and forth a few times, we became fast friends. I'd like to officially announce that her zebra rug tutorial is the best one out there so there's no need to look any further.

The cost was $119.00 and it took her four hours. WOW!

Mandi is adorable, fun, ingenious, spunky, and so genuine. In fact, it just so happens she is at the Nate Berkus Show today. She is working on some projects that they will tape on Wednesday, and air in a couple of weeks.
