Jilly and I have been decorating homes for the holidays for so many years we've lost count.
So when we were invited to do a segment on Sonoran Living well,
we were honored.
They wanted some inexpensive ways to spruce up for the holidays.
We had a lot of fun and learned the camera is in LOVE with Jilly!
Our photographer friend Bruce of BK Barnes Photography jumped on board and did all the amazing photography. He is talented, knowledgeable, and he teaches
great classes.
At this point it won't surprise you that EVERYTHING on this table came from a second hand or discount store.
candles- Ikea
silverware, napkins-TJ Maxx
runner- Wal-mart $1 bin
footed silver tray- Savers
chargers-Big Lots
plates- $ store
glasses- Pier 1 clearance
mini trees- after christmas clearance @ Target
See what you can do with a few bucks a little creativity?
Todd and I both love to entertain and every year we throw an intimate party around this table. It's been a fun tradition where even the tiniest detail is packed full of love.
A few years ago Jilly and I looked and looked for good stockings for our families and couldn't find them so we
took matters into our own hands.....
(We didn't sew our own clothes in Jr. High for nothin)
Since then Jilly has made a little business creating custom stockings for
people around the country. They're simply beautiful and one of a kind.
She's done sewing this year but it's never too early to place an order for 2011!
Another inexpensive thing we love to use is natural pine branches. They smell divine and they bring an element of the outdoors in.
As long as you show the man tending the tree lot your best smile......they're free!
have a good one!
